ABOUT THE PRIZEE'S JUKE-BOX... |
At
the beginning...
January 9, 2003, whereas I was member of game's
website with
profits, the most famous French-speaking in the world,
Prizee, I was constantly in the search of a method to attract a
maximum of Net surfers to come to have fun, gain and, by the same
occasion, to become my referrals. At this point in time The
Prizee's Juke-Box was born: a free domain name,
www.jukebox-prizee.be.tf on which one was redirected automatically,
after a few seconds, on my Prizee's sponsorship page. When the Prizee's referral
page was opening, the Juke-Box was opening in a new window at
the same time, with an
aim of having a "musical companion" in the pop-up form. Today, this
address functions always but redirects towards the current site.
In 2004, with time, the Juke-box developed: new rubrics insufflating
a new heart with simple pop-up musical basic. Today, one can say that
The Prizee's Juke-Box is a single and appreciable concept on
the little canvas of the web. A pleasant brief but small moment of happiness,
escape, for young and older people, during which one can listen to music,
surfer on recreation sites closely related to the merry spirit
pop-up, innocent, naive... but in which each one finds its
place there, and its source of pleasure.
Whole-heartedly, I hope sincerely that you will appreciate the voyage
while clicking regularly, sometimes on a small juke-box to launch a
new music, sometimes on a flash animation, mp3 adventures or emulation's website or having for topic a particular game and this,
always, for your own pleasure... Bon amusement!
Why
a pop-up* ? (*new window above the main website)
The first
objective of the Juke-box being a musical companion, it was
to be detached from the principal site in order to be usable not only
on Prizee but too on many websites as you know and on whom you
would love surfer. The pop-up proved more effective then because it's
so discrete as very flexible for the web navigation.
Also, the pop-up was harmonized perfectly with one of two
principal topics of The Prizee's Juke-Box: the mangas. Indeed,
which says "manga" says "Japanese". And which says "Japanese" said
"cute". The smallness of the whole site joined together in only one
pop-up seemed to me an excellent compromise then.
Some will even deny the existence of the Juke-box by not paying
attention to the directives of the homepage in order to become
aware of the opening of the Juke-box in this form and these Net
surfers will close the pop-up systematically, thinking that it acts of
a pop-up advertising moreover. It's there that one
narrowly realizes the media's aggression with which we are each
one confronted, so much in our quotidian than on Internet,
and for The Prizee's Juke-Box, I regret it sincerely. Others
will make the "difference" and will adopt the aspect of the Juke-box
rapidly. But, it doesnt' matter in what a category you return,
you are all there here welcome!
Why
musics in MIDI** format ? (**Small size music in which only the notes are saved in a file.
With the reading, the instruments are played again from
instruments preregistered in a sounds bank, generally the
"Microsoft Synthetizer" by default on Windows. Format exploited by
the polyphonic ringings.)
At present, the term "MIDI" for a music became pejorative for
various reasons, sometimes without base: "MIDI, it's shocking,
they are completely synthetic instruments, this is finally always the same instruments in any MIDI
music, it sucks!", "MIDI, it's rotten ! Today, the MOD***
format is much more
powerful!" (***even principle that MIDI except that one can
record his own instruments in a file, therefore the instruments are
single for each music, like an ordinary music), etc.
What the majority of the Net surfers ignore, these is accesses that as a type-setter, it represents the
simplest tool for the musical composition in the world, really accessible. It's enough to have a MIDI
composition software, a keyboard and a sound card to become MIDI
compositor!
MOD format is himself directly exploitable because it's possible
to recover the "partition" of a MIDI file in a
music MOD in order to personalize its own instruments! And finally,
there is not that only one and single "bank of instruments" to play
one MIDI but many thousands on the web. It's for example
possible to download the saga "Final Fantasy's" bank to find the feeling of listening such as you knew it on
Super Nintendo. For the largest fans, it's a pure moment of
happiness!
You will have understood it, here, I have a great regard on
this popular format especially because it approaches the
most accurately to mangas and videogames! And with a size which
generally doesnt' exceed the 100ko, the MIDI format for a rich
Juke-box (several hundreds of musics directed plays and mangas
towards the Web) was to be presented under a silver plateau! And I really
wish that the "jukebox-people" readopt this format which, formerly,
was the largest friend of our Super NES and is still today on
GameBoy Advance.
Why to have chosen to orient the musics towards the Nintendo games
and mangas ?
Because they are the two ends which rocked my childhood and which
never entirely left me, revived by the repeat broadcast of great
classic of mangas to television, and by emulation on Internet,
allowing all to be able play again with old games of their favorite console
on their own computer, and even in network! It thus acts
above all of a personal choice, but because they also constituted in
my opinion 2 principal factors of naivety, magic, fantastic,
lovesong, escape. These was then the elements that I made a point
of dividing with you.
The Nintendo games are to 90% games of excellent quality
but, except all the graphic beauty and the fun of the games,
Nintendo is much more than that. It's a whole universe made up
characters marking eternally the world of the video game, such as
Mario, her Luigi brother and his princess Peach, Donkey
Kong, Kirby, Samus, Link and its Zelda princess. They
are also the whole first Final Fantasy which left and of many role
playing games without continuation which knew their apogee on 8 and 16 bits console. Thus
has The Prizee's Juke-Box the role of remind you all this universe while sharing you its best musics.
The mangas, left straight of Japan, are to be classified
aside from the
others animated drawings. Indeed, which don't
know yet the saga of hundreds episodes like Dragon Ball,
Super Seiyen, Sailor Moon, Ranma 1/2, Love Hina, I pass from there and from best undoubtedly.
Their scenarios single appealing and witch with a quality and a
precision of the traces in the finest details of each character or even the decorations are irreproachable. As for the expressions of
the face for the emotions, the loving scenes, the force is such as
one regrets already the end of the 20 minutes episode and to have to
wait the following day to go back full the sight from it! The
Prizee's Juke-Box will especially select for you a great
compilation of the credits and musics of passage of these mangas in
their original versions, most successful.
Why to have put online a guestbook, you really believe that somebody
will sign it?
Huh...
yeah, I am enough crazy for really believing that one will sign it,... Worst it is than I am serious! If it's not a pitiful
